EYE EXAMINATION

It is a series of tests performed on the eyes to ascertain the state of it. It includes checking how best the eyes can see (Visual Acuity), observe the various structures of the front part of the eye with a microscope (Slit Lamp Biomicroscopy), observe the innermost parts of the eye such as the retina, macula, and optic nerve (Fundoscopy). It also involves checking how the muscles in the eyes work (Extraocular Muscle Motility) and the pressure in the eyes (Intraocular Pressures).
