You have a membrane behind the implant you received during your cataract surgery. This membrane became thick and cloudy and it has to be broken by laser so you would be able to see well again.
The laser procedure is painless and takes a few minutes. You will just see a few flashes of light. It has no complications. Your eyesight will return in a day. You will see a few floating dots for a few days, do not worry, they go away. You will need to use eyedrops for a week, and come for a follow-up visit.
It costs 80 GhC. There is no risk of not performing the laser, but without it your vision will remain blurry.
